You may choose the "Smart" or "Non-smart" version. The "Smart" version includes complimentary access to the PortFi Charging Lite app that allows you to remotely monitor and control your charging sessions. It presents 3 charging modes: plug & charge, app-control, and scheduled charging to suit a variety of EV charging preferences.
The smart charging technology allows time-based charging speed adjustments to avoid overloading your electrical panel during peak time and to take advantage of a lower electricity rate tier when a time-of-use rate plan is available from your utility.

Title says it all. I use it to track my consumption when I charge at a friends house next to my work, so I know what I owe them each month.
This charger is strongly built. It works great with my Model Y. I can set a very detailed charging schedule in its app to limit the amperage during peak time and optimize power during non-peak. I was not able to do this with Tesla app. The power change after the configuration was pretty reliable. Like it much so far.
Having the NEMA 14-50 plug probably saved us $1k. We had an extra outlet in the garage and we simply plug it in. We did have to upgrade the breaker to 50amp but overall this is much more convenient and economical than hardwiring.
Got the version with wifi extender. The charger works well and I was also able to move some of our other IOTs to this network. This is a good deal considering it's also a 32a level 2 charger. The app is convenient too to see charging history.
We needed a replacement charger fast and used the 2-day shipping on this site. We weren't sure it would arrive on time and messaged the customer service. And it indeed arrive on time! The installation was a blast and it's already up and running. Very happy with the service!
This charger is incredibly easy to setup. The physical installation was straightforward with the backplate. The NEMA plug makes the connection instant. AND, when I login the app there is no wifi setup whatsoever, it just work!
We were hesitant to purchase a non-tesla charger but this one works great with our model Y. Just need to use the converter (that came with the car). The app is sleek and the setup was painless.

Excellent customer team! They helped us better understand the technology and why it would be a great purchase. The charger is reliable for the past month and we also quite enjoy the app. We set the charging mode to "Scheduled Charging" and it worked pretty well. I think the cellular connection has helped to make sure the charger is always connected.
We had to find a replacement charger quickly as our old one stopped working. The sales team was so good at responding to our request to ship it fast and have it arrive on time. The setup took basically no time and the app is just up and running after login. We are thankful that our car is finally back to full charge again (instead of paying $$ at public chargers).
We actually confirmed with the company that 4g data will indeed be included! So it comes with 500mb data, which according to their data will last for 3-5 years. And the 1st renewal is automatic and free. This will put the total to 6-10 years. That's usually the expected life of an EV charger so basically data is free. I think this is a great deal and the 4g option also makes the connection reliable.
Having a NEMA plug is so useful for a home charger because we can just install it in 10-min! Once installed, we scanned the QR code and entered some code and the app is then ready to use. I was hoping there could be a 32-amp version of this but this one works great!
The charging app that comes with the charger is well made with useful functions and simple design. More importantly, ads free!!
We have been using this charger for several weeks and I have to say it's quite reliable. I think because it uses 4g, we never had any connection issues. The scheduled charging always work and we feel like this is something we can really depend on. The customer team behind the product was very responsive and knowledgeable in answering some of our charging questions. Overall a great purchase!
I felt $700 is quite expensive for a l2 charger though this one is pretty unique with 4g connection and data. Basically, it saves all the wifi configurations and the connection is stable. I think it will be worth it if you have sketchy wifi or require reliable charging.
